Principal Message

As the definition, aim and objectives of education have regularly been changing. Today there is an explosion of knowledge. Thus we shall have to re-consider our educational objectives. The educational institutions have to impart the knowledge of various subjects introduced by CBSE, NCERT and other state boards of India but as per as concern with our education mission's aim, is to expense minimum, possible time, and money in a systematic manner for a maximum output. The aim of students of present have to become a responsible citizens of the country. Education is the foundation of nation, thus all the educational institutions should have to impart quality education, value education and also to develop Indian culture. The learner should not have to pan the examination only.

Keeping the above views in mind, late Shri Mahant Indresh Charan Dass Ji maharaj (the 9th Shri Mahant of the Darbar Saheb, dehradun); established. Shri Guru Ram Rai public School at Govindpuram, Ghaziabad (U.P) in 1991 under the roof of S.G.R.R Education Mission, Dehradun, which was established in 1952 by him.

This school has carved a special niche for itself among the 76 Public schools of Ghaziabad, affiliated to CBSE Delhi. The credit for its program directly goes to its stake holders i.e. (the founder, the patron, staff, students and parents).In our school, where I consider that every student in an INDRADHANUS, of talent right from (LKG to XIIth class).

The new Education System (CCE) introduced by CBSE, Delhi in 2009 has created a new Educational Environment where class-rooms become a window to the world and academic subjects are taught in a diverse way.

I feel proud of our achievements and appreciate the accolades achieved by our students in the different fields of curricular and co- curricular activities. Here, I would like to mention that in academic fields, from the past few years, the results of students of class-X is about 100% and the student of class-X(Mayank Pundir in science stream)got IIIrd position among all Public Schools run by mission; obtaining 91.4% agg.marks in A.I.S.S.C.E-XII-2011.

Our two students have also honored by the honorable Secretary of CBSE for their Extra ordinary performance in their subjects (100% marks in Mathes and 97% in Physics in 2011 Exam).

In the field of co-curricular activities our students have also performed a remarkable ob in district and state level/national level. Our students were awarded shields and Medals in district level painting, group dance, and debate and athletatics.Our student (Sivam Baliyan of class-XIth 2011-12 session), got silver and bronze medal in national athletics meet-2011;organized by C.B.S.E. Delhi Public School Meerut U.P.

It is now a matter of great pleasure that our school magazine "THE SPECTRUM" is taking birth of its 1st issue in 2012. I congratulate the students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff and specially the editorial board for the auccerful completion of this "Herculean task".

I wish the school progress in leaps and bounds and our students and teachers continue to aspire and break new grounds. At last, I would like to pay my sincere thanks and regard to our 'PATRON' (Respected Shri Maharaj Ji) for guiding us time to time and also fulfilling our basic needs.
